She creates an innovative and professional environment in which she shares her inspirations emanating from international travel and the study of different mediums including art, culture, architecture, and fashion.
A forward thinker, Akemi tracks the currents of luxe style, blending classic foundations with the most progressive ideas and trends. At diPietroTodd, she is responsible for managing all creative activities carried out by the teams, including productions, shows, photo shoots, press releases and content of classes. As ateacher, she is known for establishing and maintaining the highest standards of education through her demonstrations, hands-on sessions and her
development of educational systems and vocabulary.
Having grown up as the daughter of a renowned stylist and salon owner, Akemi has a profound understanding of all facets of the industry. Her passion for all things beauty motivated her to complete her formal training with diPietro Todd Salons in San Francisco. Maintaining a high profile clientele and contributing to the development and future of the image of hair styling, along with a personal desire for growth and information, has led Akemi to the forefront of the hair styling profession.
